Several surrealist artists played a collaborative, chance-based parlor game, Cadavre Exquis (Exquisite Corpse). Each player would draw an image on a sheet of paper, fold the paper to conceal their contribution and pass it on to the next player for their contribution. Players took turns adding onto each other's drawings resulting in composite figures, testing elements of unpredictability, chance, and the unseen — "all in service of disrupting the waking mind’s penchant for order".

The exquisite corpse method tests my familiarity with various creative mediums and provides me a unique practice ground for collaborative efforts, be it with old friends or acquaintances.
